Spacious Chalet

3 Bedrooms, Sleeps 6

Chalet C is nestled in the picturesque village of Le Biot, 10km from Morzine.

The Chalet has been designed to enjoy the stunning Les Portes Du Soleil all year round - from fantastic skiing and snowboarding in the winter, to mountain biking, lake swimming, hiking and hot sunny days in the summer months.

There is a regular bus service to Morzine and to Evian Les Bains on Lake Geneva, and the village has amenities including ski/snowboard hire, a bar and a couple of restaurants and bars.

Spacious architect designed interiors

The chalet has a large living area with kitchen, ideal for groups. It sleeps six people in three bedrooms.

Bedroom One - en-suite double

Bedroom Two - twin/double with single sofa bed if needed.

Bedroom Three - twin/double

There is a spacious house bathroom with bath/shower and a separate WC opposite the third bedroom. The chalet benefits from underfloor heating throughout, and there is a large utility room perfect for drying off wet ski gear.

The property has been designed so that the living kitchen with balcony is on the top floor giving breath taking views of the mountains all year round. The furniture and bathrooms have been selected for your comfort and there are lots of design details to enjoy and antique features from our travels around the UK and Europe.

There is a lovely decked garden with outside furniture, and it also features a 'Cave' which can be used for storing either winter sports kit or bikes.

Getting here and local transport links

Le Biot is just 90 mins drive from Geneva Airport with many airport transfer companies available, and 9 hours driving from Calais. You will need a car to make the most of Les Portes du Soleil ski area, and there are large car parks at the following nearby ski resorts:

- Roc D'Enfer at St.Jean D’Aupes: 3km / 5 min drive (free parking)

- Morzine: 10km / 20 min drive (€10/day parking)

- Avoriaz/Lindarets: 10km / 20 min drive (free parking)

- Les Gets: 12km / 25 min drive (€10/day parking)

Bus: There are buses into Morzine, Lake Montriand and Thonon and Evian on Lake Geneva every 90 minutes from 7:30am until 5pm. We recommend that these are used by keen skiers in the morning and then those wanting a more relaxed pace can drive to the resorts at their leisure.

Rental cars: From Geneva airport - we recommend Hertz (they also rent electric cars) for flexibility, quality and prices or drive from the UK, bring whatever you want with you, and fill up the car with wine and cheese on the way home!

Parking: There are 2 designated private car park spaces for Chalet C. There is free public parking in the village for extra vehicles. Please respect our neighbours parking spaces.

Electric Cars: The French charging network is excellent and much cheaper than The UK! There are public chargers in Morzine and St. Jean D’Aupes and there is a 3Kwh charger available at the Chalet to keep your car topped up if needed. This is at an additional cost at €20/ day.

Le Biot

We are on the famous Col du Corbier, and near to Col du Joux Plan et Joux Verte for road cycling, and Morzine and Les Gets for downhill mountain biking. There are some lovely amenities including a tennis court and:

- Fat Toms Delicatessen which serves delicious freshly baked croissants, lunches and suppers (with wine) and caters for food to enjoy in the chalet.

- La Fruitere d'Augustin for regional cheeses, meats, Savoie wine, and a boulangerie.

- La Pizza du Biot for tasty takeaways.

- Ski-mium ski/snowboard hire shop, and ski servicing.

- Les Tilleuls Hotel which has a cosy bar and a fabulous restaurant for good local food.

The is a smaller Carrefour Express supermarket in St.Jean D'Aupes 10 minutes drive away, and a larger one nearer Morzine for the big shop, household items, fuel and to stock up on wine.
